Nebraskas Ameer Abdullah looks like an NFL running

Instead, he is steady with his runs, constantly falling forward and creating positive yards. His patience and willingne s to take four or five yards a carry pay off when the defense makes a mistake and gives him enough room to accelerate past linebackers. Thats when he can break off 20-plus yard gains and demoralize defenses.MORE: At 5-9, 195, Abdullah doesnt po se s sub 4.4-speed or tremendous power, but he brings the total package to the table. After he pa ses the line of scrimmage, Abdullah is hard to bring down because he runs so low. His pad level is almost always lower than the defenders pads, which creates the leverage needed to bounce off Alvin Kamara Jersey would-be tacklers. Take a look at the GIF below, which shows Abdullah shedding a tackle from Miami star linebacker Denzel Perryman to gain additional yards.After Abdullah is knocked back by Perryman, it takes three Hurricanes to bring down Abdullah. The balance exhibited is terrific, and its supplemented by Abdullahs ability to keep his legs driving New Orleans Saints Sleepwear Underwear . He shows that he wants those extra yards on every play, and his effort is another major plus.Later in the game against Miami, Abdullahs vision and balance are once again showcased. After taking the handoff, Abdullah veers to the outside of the tackle, but cuts back to follow his blockers. As he hits the running lane, he runs right through multiple hits to reach the end zone.Abdullah could be the most well-rounded tailback in the country with his burst, vision, patience and shiftine s in space. Thats not a slight to Wisconsins Melvin Gordon or Georgias Todd Gurley. Abdullah is simply that impre sive.Abdullah has no obvious weakne ses. He always gains positive yards in a manner that should translate well to the NFL. He doesnt stretch his runs to the sideline because hes not reliant on his physical gifts. Abdullah can win within the tackles without i sue, a testament to his mental proce sing ability.Abdullahs ability to contribute in the pa sing game is a big bonus. He has reliable hands Dylan Soehner Jersey and shows he can focus on the moment and not get ahead of himself. In the red zone, he must be accounted for because he immediately looks downfield after the catch, and is a good open-field runner.He may not run the fastest 40, but with his short area quickne s and fluidity to shake defenders in the Marquez Callaway Jersey open field, hes an offensive weapon. The Cornhuskers are le s predictable with Tommy Armstrong at quarterback, but without Abdullah, their attack would be much le s effective. Hes a true three-down back.With Illinois coming to Lincoln this weekend, Abdullah should be motivated to finish his collegiate career by terrorizing Big Ten defenses one last time before he enters the NFL.
