There will be considerable cap space available to spend on the market, and while the Magic want to keep Harris (and can match any offer he gets), he could receive a blockbuster deal that causes the franchise to think twice about keeping him. As a versatile, 22-year-old forward who has improved steadily, though, Harris is worth keeping unle s they have another plan in place.Sources sayIt was a hugely disappointing season for theveterans brought in to help guide the youngsters:Luke Ridnour, Channing Frye and Ben Gordon. The team has options on Gordon and Ridnour, and those options are not expected to be picked up. That leaves Frye, a good locker-room leader and Harris' cousin who was mi sed by the Suns, but could muster only 7.4 points a game as he fell out of the rotation for the Magic. Orlando still has three years and $23 million committed to Frye, and the size of his deal has rendered him all but untradeable. He did not even come up in any serious discu sions at last Februarys deadline. The Magic could look at moving Frye at next years deadline, but until then, the feeling is that theyre stuck with him.Draft Wil Myers Jersey outlookThe Magic are in line for the No. 5 pick in the draft, and they figure to have the ability to addre s one of their two forward positions with that selection. Orlando will hope that Gordon develops, of course, but if a major power forward such as Kentuckys Trey Lyles or UCLAs Kevon Looney is available, they might have to gamble on potential. Or, they could gird against the po sible lo s of Harris in free agency by looking at Dukes Justise Winslow or Arizonas Stanley Johnson, who both project to be small forwards.Shopping listFirst up is the coach , and James Borrego will finish the season as the interim. Though Rollie Fingers Jersey Scott Skiles has been mentioned as a po sibility, its still an open proce s. With so much youth, the Magic need to walk a fine line. They want to bring in a coach who can help them turn the corner and start winning, but they still need to focus on development. As for the free-agent market, depending on how things go with Harris, the Magic wont have much space to make major additions in the offseason. As a restricted free agent, its po sible that Harris situation will drag out past the initial burst of free-agent activity, as it did with Eric Randy Jones Jersey Bledsoe and Greg Monroe last summer. If that happens, Orlando will have a sizable cap hold sitting on its books and keeping it from being active on the market. Not that the Magic had major free-agent plans anyway they could take a crack at adding another veteran like Gordon, but they probably wont do much more.
