Поэтому погашение по номинальной цене активов в обеспечении не гарантировано, а цена стейблкоина фактически не является стабильной. Так регулятор прокомментировал заявление руководителя департамента финансовой политики Министерства финансов России Ивана Чебескова, который пообещал, что Минфин поможет развитию стейблкоинов. Чиновник, выступая на панельной дискуссии «Влияние Web3 — новая эра интернета доверия?» в рамках Российской креативной недели, заявил, что в регулировании стейблкоинов министерство занимает сторону бизнеса: «Если есть потребность у бизнеса, у компаний или у инвесторов в том, чтобы рассчитываться, инвестировать новым образом, если им такой инструмент нужен потому что он снижает издержки, работает лучше, чем предыдущие инструменты, и если связанные с ним риски можно ограничить, то мы всегда будем поддерживать такие инициативы». В ходе дискуссии основатель компании Voronkov Ventures Андрей Воронков заявил, что сегодня в России нет рублевого стейблкоина, основанного на блокчейне. По его словам, эта практика должна появиться, поскольку стейблкоины, привязанные к доллару США, позволяют упрочить положение американской валюты в мире, так как, чтобы купить криптовалюту, нужно купить доллары. Представитель Минфина удержался от комментариев этого заявления и не ответил на вопрос о том, когда будет выпущен стейблкоин привязанный к рублю.
